A couple of things:
I was promoted to Raid Leader/Guild Officer a few days ago. It made me pretty happy and seems to be working out well so far.
The new Wheel of Time book is finally out today. Though I have read and enjoyed Sanderson's work, I'm still a bit curious how the whole thing is going to turn out. I am overjoyed at the opportunity to find out myself.
Work is work. I'm looking for a new job with a more flexible schedule and better pay. But I'm only kinda looking. I need the hell out of this place, and I don't want to look for roommates. So more money is the only option.

Cross Channel was absolutely amazing. I found it eerily poignant in many places.
As an added plus, I now completely understand Nanaca Crash.

Pizza boss told me today that I could get full time hours if I wanted them. In other words, if I were to quit Porn job, I would have already have a full-time job waiting.
I still have to think about it. As much as I hate dealing with the people, the mess, the smell, the hours, the sleeplessness, the boredom, and the feelings of worthlessness and despair this place brings me, I have become accustomed to the money. It's not excellent pay. In fact, it's rather shit. But leaving here would cause me to earn less. If I ever hope to improve my life situation from where it is now, I need money. Fucking lots of it. Being a fuck up is expensive.
It all comes down to how much my sanity is worth. In dollars.

Suggestion to filmmakers: If you decide to adapt a popular novel for the screen, and you decide to chop a good portion of the plot of the book, please have the decency to not make shit up to fill the interim.
Also, Slughorn sucked.
I'm not trying to be that frothing nerd who holds source material as some sacred text, but fuck. If I wanted Harry Potter fan fiction, I could have saved ten bucks.

Two games yesterday:
Fate/Unlimited Codes Portable: Probably the best looking, funnest PSP fighter to date. Though I could just be biased because it's Type-Moon stuff. Honestly, the analog stump is as worthless as usual, and the PSP version just makes me want the PS2 version even more so I can use an arcade sick. But, for what it is, it's excellent. I can't wait for the English version.
Tales of Monkey Island Chapter 1: Everything I expected and more. Fuzzy sound and inventory management issues are my only complaints, and even those were quickly ignored in the face of everything else that the game just nailed. Worth every penny so far, and chapter 2 isn't even out for another month.
