Demon's Souls does a magnificent job of balancing controller-breaking difficulty and punch-your-mother-in-the-face difficulty.
Remember when you had to learn games to progress? Before the days of a full-screen tutorial message popping up every time you need to press a button? That's Demon's Souls.
And the message system for "online" play is one of the coolest ideas in a game ever.

A couple of things:
I was promoted to Raid Leader/Guild Officer a few days ago. It made me pretty happy and seems to be working out well so far.
The new Wheel of Time book is finally out today. Though I have read and enjoyed Sanderson's work, I'm still a bit curious how the whole thing is going to turn out. I am overjoyed at the opportunity to find out myself.
Work is work. I'm looking for a new job with a more flexible schedule and better pay. But I'm only kinda looking. I need the hell out of this place, and I don't want to look for roommates. So more money is the only option.

Cross Channel was absolutely amazing. I found it eerily poignant in many places.
As an added plus, I now completely understand Nanaca Crash.

Tomorrow morning, when my boss comes in, I'm putting in my notice. How rad is that?
Other than that, nothing that is not horrendously nerdy is going on. Ahyep.
