Potter Stinks
Suggestion to filmmakers: If you decide to adapt a popular novel for the screen, and you decide to chop a good portion of the plot of the book, please have the decency to not make shit up to fill the interim.

Also, Slughorn sucked.

I'm not trying to be that frothing nerd who holds source material as some sacred text, but fuck. If I wanted Harry Potter fan fiction, I could have saved ten bucks.

It drives me INSANE when filmmakers just add random shit.

Taking stuff out? That's fine. It has to happen. I understand. ADDING shit? Unless it's absolutely essential to make the stuff you chopped make sense, PLEASE DON'T.

Also please don't take nice, good characters and turn them into douches for no reason. Faramirrrrrrrrrrrr!!
